Dear Colleague,
after nine days of hunger strike "finally" the Director General has received A delegation of workers ASU (the RdB although this was always on the side of workers, has decided not to attend this meeting) to open a discussion on various options viable for our full-time stabilization. The administration while keeping its position because there is still pending interpretation of Sections 550 and 551 of the 2008 budget by the Ministry of Public Administration, has expressed a willingness to listen to our suggestions that make stabilization to 36 hours not a dream but a certainty. The Engineer Cicero has made a commitment to explore the feasibility of these proposals to the relevant departments and the Accountant General and let us have short an official response on which we can begin to actively and effectively build our stabilization. Therefore, the workers decided to stop the hunger strike and to continue with the strike to the bitter end with a garrison fixed Piazza Pretoria.
